Following the huge success of our sock puppets at Glastonbury 2014, we have decided to offer a class to make your very own. Sock puppets for adults are a great fancy dress theme, and also have the practical benefit of being a great way to find your friends in a festival crowd. For children, their use is as varied as their imagination.
During the workshop, you will design and make your very own puppet. It can be your favourite animal, or a fantasy creature. You can choose a suitable sock from our collection, or your can bring along your favourite old sock to give it a lease of new life. We will help you work out how to bring your idea to life – giving the sock the right shape, and all the fancy accessories it might need.
