A cupcake class in progress
During the two hour class, our resident cupcake expert Becky, from Little Miss Cupcakes, will be teaching you all the skills you need to create some beautifully decorated cupcakes and also throwing in some handy tips. You will have six cupcakes to decorate yourself and take home in a gift box to enjoy with friends and family. The class will include:
- An introduction into making your own sugarpaste decorations with demos on using cutters and silicone moulds
- Demo of making two simple sugar flowers
- Tips on making buttercream frosting and our recipe to take home
- Colouring some ready made frosting
- Piping techniques with a variety of nozzles
- Fondant iced cupcakes – how to get a professional look with embossers and quilters
- You will cover your six cakes with piped buttercream or fondant icing and make your own decorations
- Drinks and sweet snacks will be provided
We have only eight spaces per class and under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. We also offer children’s parties, please email us for details.
The cupcake decorating workshop is hosted at our lovely studio in Leamington Spa which is easy to find and very close to train and bus stations. Please arrive 5 minutes before the start time as we will start promptly at 2pm.
Please note that this class is not suitable for anyone with food allergies.
